Perform any ONE repertoire piece from the Baroque (or early art music), Classicism, Romanticism, Impressionism and Modern (not a program of pieces, only ONE in total)

From sheet music or memorized
Solo and Duo only (no groups)
Vocalists and instrumentalists
You will compete in age categories for Grand Prize, 1st prize with honors, 1st prize, 2nd, 3rd prizes, Honorable Mention and Merit awards:
Young Musicians: age 7 and younger
Junior 1: age 8 and 9
Junior 2: ages 10 to 13
Senior: ages 14 to 18
Collegiate: age 19 to 26
Open: 27+
Age calculated as on March 1st.
If the duo has members spanning two age groups, enter into the older category.

Entry Fee $40 (flat rate for both solo or duo)
Entry period March 1 - 31

- There is no specific length or time restriction, however judges reserve the right to judge only the first 10 minutes of your lengthy ONE composition.
- If you submit a YouTube link with more than one piece on, the judges will listen to the FIRST piece on the video. (They will not fast forward or rewind to find a specific piece).
- Repeats at the performer's discretion. All Da Capo and Dal Segno must be observed.
- Single movements of sonatas or concertos may be entered. Single dances from Suites may be entered. Prelude and Fugues may be entered as separate pieces. Theme and Variations must be entered as a complete piece.
- Concerto movements must be entered with accompaniment (orchestra, piano reduction, recording, etc).
- Vocalists may enter a capella selections if that is the style of the entry. Songs with accompaniment, e.g. art songs, opera arias, etc., must be performed with live or recorded accompaniment.
